According to the UN (2015), a sustainable future relies on gender equality

We all have gender stereotypes, which can prevent us from fulfilling our potential. Children’s stereotypes, in particular, may cause them not to pursue activities, including academic activities, that they stereotype as not being appropriate for their gender.

Given the need to rectify gender equalities, we developed a project in which researchers and teachers met over the course of a year to develop lesson plans and test them in classrooms. This project was funded by an ESRC Impact accelerator account at the University of Surrey.

On our website, you will find these lesson plans as well as lesson plans we found throughout the internet. In addition, we created a glossary of vocabulary terms.
